I want a car so that, without warning, I'll be able to drive somewhere pretty and watch the sun fall beneath the horizon. As soon as I earn those P plates, I want to guide my wheels to the amazing gardens in Tilba. I'll sip on sweet chai lattes with daisies in my hair and take photographs of the sun through the leaves and pettles. I want to drive to the beach late at night, lie in the sand, wrapped in wool and name the stars with my dog beside me. I'll pick up my friends and we'll drive up the coast, rummaging through all the tiny second hand stores and come home smothered in garments that were too cheap to leave behind. If only.
